A brilliant participation was obtained by the main Vistamar wines in the tasting carried out by the English critic
The renowned British Master of Wine Tim Atkin tasted 7 Vistamar wines. The winery, which stands out for having a philosophy that respects the times and cycles of nature, has a portfolio of fresh reds and whites, with notable aromatic intensity and great balance, which were presented to the critic on his most recent visit to Chile, last December.
Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2020 obtained an outstanding 93 points. The wine, from specific vineyards in our Belén field, in Lo Ovalle in Casablanca Valley, stood out for its freshness and volume on the palate, as well as its elegance and persistence on the palate.
Enki 2019, the winery’s ultra-premium wine, which is made up of 60% Carmenère and 40% Carignan, received 92 points from Atkin. For its part, the Vistamar Corte de Campo line received 92 points in its Coastal 2020 version from the Casablanca Valley and 90 points in its Andes Blend 2020 version produced in the Cachapoal Valley.
Finally, the Single Estate line, made up of wines that come from a single vineyard and from which one kilo of grapes is extracted per plant to guarantee a greater concentration, obtained 92 points for its Chardonnay 2021 variety, and 90 points for its Carmenère 2020 and Sauvignon Blanc 2021.
