Vuelo Mágico 2018 and Andino 2019 were highlighted by the English critic in his last tasting of Mancura wines, as part of the critic’s annual report on Chilean wines.
Born in the Maipo Valley, Vuelo Mágico is a complex and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, very characteristic of the deep soils and Mediterranean climate of the area. Its 2018 vintage obtained 91 points from the respected Master of Wine and English critic, Tim Atkin, a recognition that confirms the extraordinary potential of this wine, born in the heart of one of the most emblematic valleys for the variety in Chile.
Andino 2019, by its part, in its Red Blend version, received 90 points and was highlighted for its aromas of raspberries, currants and plums and its juicy and velvety character. This wine is an elegant blend from the Maule Valley, made up of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Carmenère, 22% Cabernet Franc, 15% Syrah and 8% Carignan.
In this way, both wines obtained excellent scores and continue to consolidate their position as wines capable of reflecting Chile and its extraordinary nature, committed to Mancura’s purpose of homage to Chilean roots, traditions and origins, seeking to preserve the wine heritage of our country.
