Decanter, one of the wine world’s most prestigious magazines positioned the Morandé Black Series as Chile’s Best Pinot Noir in its most recent tasting of the category.

With 96 points, the 2020 vintage of the Morandé Black Series Pinot Noir led the tasting as the best-ranked of all Chilean Pinot Noirs.

The Morandé Black Series Pinot Noir comes from the Malleco Valley, from a vineyard located in the heart of the Araucanía region, between the Andes and the Nahuelbuta Mountains.

Its volcanic soils with old breccias, low-to-medium fertility, and cold and rainy winters allow the grapes to ripen slowly and constantly while maintaining their acidity and producing fresh and floral aromas.

This Pinot Noir offers an intense expression of red fruit, as well as a deep and subtle, fresh and juicy mineral character—a wine that reflects our innovative spirit and our passion for working with classic varieties in new origins.
