Critic James Suckling, one of the wine world’s most influential figures, included three wines from Viña Morandé on his list of Chile’s Top 100 Wines for 2022. The 2019 Vigno placed 34th, House of Morandé ranked 61st, and the Morandé Brut Nature took the 66th position. These accolades mark and important milestone for Viña Morandé and the first time in its history that it has had three wines appear on this exclusive list.
The influential North American wine critic James Suckling widely praised Viña Morandé in his latest ranking of the Top 100 Wines of Chile. The 2019 Vigno stands out as Nº 34 on the list as well as for its 94 points. The 2019 House of Morandé, in position Nº 61, also received 94 points and was praised for its “precise and immaculate tannins” and its “juicy, polished, and long” character.
Finally, the third wine on the list is the Morandé Brut Nature in position Nº 66 and with 93 points. It was also the only sparkling wine on the list.
