SEVEN WINES FROM OUR FOUR VINEYARDS AMONG THE MEDALLISTS OF THE 2021 GLOBAL SAUVIGNON BLANC MASTERS

The Sauvignon Blanc wines of the Morande Wine Group received excellent marks awarded in the context of the Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters 2021 contest, held by The Drinks Business, one of the main European publications.

This renowned contest, organized by one of the most prestigious specialized magazines in the world, has high-quality juries and unique tasting processes. The wines are evaluated for their flavor and the ability of the winemaker to obtain the best expression of a particular variety. We are pleased to share with you the medals and scores awarded by the Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters 2021 to our wines made with this variety.

Viña Morandé

In the “unoaked” category under £ 10, our 2020 Pionero Morandé Sauvignon Blanc from the Maule Valley won a silver medal with 88 points.

Our Sauvignon Blanc Estate Reserve Morandé 2020 from the Casablanca Valley, which expresses the identities of our terroirs through high-density planted vineyards, obtained a bronze medal with 88 points.

Viña Vistamar

In the category «oaked», our Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva Vistamar 2019, obtained a silver medal with 90 points for its rich refreshing mineral acidity, with citrus notes.

Our Sauvignon Blanc Reserva Vistamar 2020 from the Maule Valley obtained a silver medal with 88 points. For its part, the Sauvignon Blanc Brisa Vistamar 2020, with an excellent price / quality ratio, won a silver medal with 89 points.

Viña Mancura

In the category under £ 10 our 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Etnia Mancura obtained a silver medal and 90 points due to its freshness and rich texture.

In the “unoaked” category under £ 10, our Sauvignon Blanc Varietal 7Colores 2020 from the Central Valley won a bronze medal with 87 points for being a very fresh, crisp and juicy wine.
