We are very pleased to communicate the scores bestowed to our wines by the Decanter World Wine Awards 2020, one of the world’s most important and influential wine contests.

Morandé Winery

The wines of our Morandé Estate Reserve range, which express the diverse identities of our terroirs through high-density planted vineyards, were very well received. Our Carmenère 2019, from the Maipo Valley and Gewüztraminer 2019 from Casablanca, each scored 90 points.

Our Morandé Estate Reserve, Sauvignon Blanc 2019 deserves a special mention, as it obtained 92 points for its great freshness, fruitiness and minerality, a typicity that comes from the vines of this variety planted in the Lo Ovalle sector, one of the coldest areas in the Casablanca Valley.

Vistamar Winery

Our Vistamar, Corte de Campo Andes 2017 achieved 91 points. This excellent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot and Carmenère is juicy and fresh, with soft and round tannins on the palate.

7 Colores Winery

The Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2018, by Viña 7 Colores, was awarded 90 points for its delicious acidity and its tannins of excellent structure that confer the wine a lively body on the palate, making it very easy to enjoy.

Mancura Winery

Viña Mancura’s Leyenda 2017, a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot that comes from the Casablanca Valley, was granted 90 points for its complexity and structure, without losing freshnes and elegance.

Zorzal Winery

The Cabernet Franc grapes that give life to our Zorzal Gran Terroir 2019, awarded with 92 points, come from Tupungato, Argentina, where they are grown at 1,350 masl. They give life to a wine that has a poised entry on the mouth and shows a great structure, much nerve and sharp tannins, in addition to a wide and long finish.

The same 92 points were granted to Zorzal Eggo Franco 2018, made with the same variety and originated in the same sector. It is fermented with wild yeasts in concrete eggs, where it is also aged. It is a juicy and well-structured wine, with a nice acidity that provides much freshness.
